An Update from the Bradley Family

It is hard to believe it’s only been two weeks since Aidan’s accident. What seems like a bad dream is now our reality. Kerlene and I along with family and close friends have spent long days at the hospital to be at Aidan’s side providing support, love, and encouragement.

In these two weeks, Aidan has had 7 surgeries with most of them on his right arm/shoulder area. There will likely be many more to come. Aidan has begun the healing process of his right leg. We hope that the Doctors are correct when they say that he should be able to walk again with a prosthetic leg. The timeline varies but could be as soon as 6 months. Aidan has had several productive sessions with both physical and occupational therapy. These sessions are just the beginning for him to re-learn some basic tasks like balancing on one leg, personal hygiene and learning to transition from his bed to a seated position bedside.

We know that Aidan has a long road ahead of him, but we will be with him every step of the way. We are taking the road to recovery one day at a time, but we know he will prevail!

With that being said, we know that the future will have a monetary strain on our family with regards to the cost of Aidan’s needs. We sincerely thank everyone who has already donated to help our family. If you have not had the opportunity, we ask that you please consider donating to help with Aidan’s future.

Thank-you!
