Laurel-  On Friday, Officers from Delaware Probation and Parole and Delaware State Police responded to Little Creek Apartments for suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers observed Joseph Palmer, an active probationer, engaging in suspicious behavior outside the 600 Building of Little Creek Apartments.

After establishing probable cause, Probation Officers conducted an administrative search of Palmer’s residence. During the search, Officers located 5 ounces of Marijuana, 1 ounce of Cocaine, $700 USC in suspected drug proceeds, as well as other drug paraphernalia used for the packaging and distribution of narcotics. Palmer and all items seized were turned over to Delaware State Police Governor’s Task Force for processing.

Delaware State Police have charged Palmer for Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Deliver, Conspiracy 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Non-Marijuana Related.
