Dover: Probationer and second subject were arrested Thursday after a search warrant was conducted at a local motel.

On September 21st, 2017, at approximately 11:15 a.m., members of the United States Marshalls Task Force, Delaware Probation and Parole,  Dover Police, and Delaware State Police took part in a joint operation. Officers had tracked down Probationer Cameron Norwood, 27, and a second subject, Natasha Morris, 25, to the Best Western, located at 1700 East Lebanon Road, Dover. Norwood was wanted for violation of probation after absconding from supervision as well as other violations. During their investigations, a computer check also revealed that Natasha Morris was wanted on a capias from Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.

After the initial arrest, a search warrant was obtained for the subject's room as well as a 2000 Saturn Aura that Norwood uses.  While searching the Saturn, officers located 13,000 bags (91 grams) of heroin along with a fully loaded 9mm handgun.

Cameron Norwood and Natasha Morris were then transported to Troop 3 in Camden. Both individuals were charged as follows: Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Heroin), two counts of Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited, Conspiracy 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  They were both arraigned at JP2 and remanded to the custody of the Department of Correction on $170,000.00 cash bond.
