On April 5th, 2017, Gov. John Carney signed a proclamation recognizing this week (4/2-4/8) as Crime Victims' Rights Week. As part of this signing, the Governor recognized Probation Officers Hunter Whitman and  Amanda Munyan, as well as Senior Probation Officer Ray Hill for their efforts and "exceeding expectations while working with crime victims," according to Delaware's Victims' Rights Task Force. Department of Correction Commissioner Perry Phelps said in a statement that, “We are pleased so many of our probation officers continue to go above and beyond the scope of their daily responsibilities in order to keep our communities safe.”
