On Thursday February 22, 2018, members of GTF and the Georgetown Probation Street Unit responded to 23472 Mission Rd, Millsboro to conduct an arrest attempt for Tyree Oliver (b/m 04/08/91).  GTF had previously received information from the Probation Street Unit that Oliver was staying at this address and typically leaves during the morning hours.  The street unit requested assistance from GTF to conduct the arrest attempt. Oliver was a probation absconder who had a Rule 9 warrant from Superior Court for drug dealing as well as a VOP capias from Superior Court and a JP Court capias for FTP. 

​Upon arrival, Oliver was located in a bedroom within the residence and was taken into custody without incident.  At this time, he admitted to having a quantity of heroin within his backpack which was located nearby.  Oliver gave consent for officers to search his backpack which, revealed three clear plastic bags, each of which contained a large quantity of suspected heroin.  A further search of Oliver’s bedroom revealed $1174.00 U.S. currency, heroin packaging materials and several cellular telephones.  The bags of heroin were counted and were determined to be approximately 1780 for an approximate weight of 12.46 grams.  The packaging was white wax bags stamped “White House.”  

​Oliver was charged with PWITD heroin in a tier 4 quantity, possession of heroin in a tier 5 quantity and possession of drug paraphernalia.  His arraignment on these charges is currently pending.  He was arraigned on his Rule 9 warrant and Superior Court VOP capias and committed to SCI on a cash bond.
